CRESTFALLEN

The dragons are awake.

CRESTFALLEN is a 4th level, third-party adventure for the Shadowdark RPG. In Crestfallen, adventurers witness the return of the dragon lords and the birth of a second Age of the Dragons. Fleeing to a mountain stronghold, players must prepare for war the likes of which no one has seen in a thousand years. But here is a secret, a forgotten weapon, a hidden relic that could save the fortress from devastation.

CRESTFALLEN is a level 4 adventure for Shadowdark RPG set within the larger world of GODLESS, meant to bring players from level 4 to level 7. This 16 page adventure booklet includes a starter dungeon, the trappings of the mountain fortress and its inhabitants, and the necessary components for a large-scale battle. It may be played as a continuation of the narrative begun in the Hall of Einninel adventure, but may be played in any setting.  

New players and DM's will not strictly require the GODLESS setting guide or the full Shadowdark RPG rulebook in order to play or make use of this adventure; though the Shadowdark Quickstart Guide provided by the Arcane Library will be required. Everything is provided in order to run the game within the setting. We do highly recommend the GODLESS setting guide as a tool for running further RPG's, even beyond the GODLESS setting itself.
